“Excel Hotels was a real pleasant surprise! I have been travelling by this place at least twice a month and I didn't know there was this gem of a property right by the highway. The location is about 1 km off the Kolkata Kharagpur highway just at the foot of the Kolaghat bridge. All the rooms are river facing. There is a sprawling lawn, swimming pool and garden right beside the river Rupnarayan. The restaurant was large and great with a wonderful and wide view of the river. Overall a great location for spending a good weekend with your loved ones.”
